USA Visit Visa Application Process
Step 1: Complete the DS-160 Form
- Visit the official DS-160 application page: https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC.
- Select your country from the dropdown. Enter the captcha code and click “START AN APPLICATION”.

- Click “I Agree”, then print your Application ID and set a security question (you’ll need this to access your form later).

- Fill out the DS-160 form carefully. The form consists of 10 sections, covering personal details, travel history, and visa-related information.

- Review your details, then print your DS-160 confirmation page (this is required for your appointment).
Step 2: Schedule Your Visa Interview
- Visit the USA visa appointment portal: https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/.
- Click on “New User?” to create an account.
- Log in and select “Schedule Appointment”.
- Fill in the required details and answer the questions.
- Confirm your appointment date and print the confirmation page.
Processing Time & Final Steps
- Attend your visa interview at the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
- Bring all required documents and any supporting materials to strengthen your application.
- After approval, your passport will be stamped with the visa, and you can travel to the USA!
